National School Bus Safety Week is Oct. 21-25, 2024
It’s that time of year again and Beach Transportation is spreading the word about National School Bus Safety Week. This year, the week of proactive awareness occurs October 21 – 25, 2024. We are excited to share this year’s theme of “Driving Safely Into The Future”.
The National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) chooses a theme every year to focus safety materials on. They also provide a poster submission contest for youth to get them involved in bus safety. This year’s winner poster was submitted by Melissa Yang from Delmar, NY. During that week, we will be sharing daily safety tips and reminders on our social media accounts. Make sure to follow us for information pertaining to safe riding practices.
School buses provide the safest transportation in the United States. One reason is our year-round focus on safety. We have safety education materials and programs for all ages and ability levels and are happy to provide them to classes. We also welcome invitations to work with parent groups, service groups and different community functions. Our presenters are available throughout the year to meet your needs.
